    Rookies Go Camping!!

Running back Darren McFadden seemed to handle the ball less than either Michael Bush or Louis Rankin, the latter an undrafted free agent out of Washington. Kiffin said the three were getting snaps on an equal basis.

During one receiving drill, wide receivers Drisan James, Marcel Reese, Todd Watkins, Chaz Schilens and Arman Shields all had drops, getting varying degrees of critique from wide receivers coach James Lofton.

Oakland Raiders draft picks, undrafted rookie free agents and other eligible players hit the field at the team's Alameda, Calif., facility for a spirited practice session. "Great day. I am proud of our coaches and players to come out here - [just] one turnover today," Raiders Head Coach Lane Kiffin said. "So many of these times you see guys going the wrong way, running into each other, balls on the ground. Guys were getting lined up, and I was very impressed with the players today."

Anytime we discuss our off season moves it always seems to come back to a discussion of the recent past. Many argue that these moves this year are due to poor drafting and poor player development over the recent years and that they are merely desperation moves to try to fix the damage that Al Davis has done.

Raider fans walk with a more graceful rhythm today. The way we feel nowadays, being a Raider fan may just come back into style. For others at least. Like the black jerseys, we haven't changed.

Well, Jerry McDonald pretty much covered most of the details in his blog. I have to say, after being there today, I give mad props to Jerry for being able to see all the things he does. There is a lot of stuff happening on two fields at the same time and he’s very skilled at picking up on a lot of little things (like Seabass throwing the ball to the kids behind the fence).
