The numbers are pretty impressive when you look at them. In 2004, Rob Ryan's first year here, our defense was ranked 30th in total yards allowed. In 2005 we were 27th. Last year, we jettisoned our way to # 3. It speaks volumes of the continuity that develops when you have a good coach and allow him the room to grow into his position.
